Drops: Position Players

2B/SS Jonathan Villar- -19.3% dropped, still rostered in 15.8% of leagues. Dropped due to not playing.

3B/OF J.D. Davis- -19.1% dropped, still rostered in 16.9% of leagues. Dropped due to not playing. GO AND ADD!

3B/SS Isiah Kiner-Falefa- +3.8% added, rostered in 14.2% of leagues. I would drop after a poor offensive and defensive start to the season.

DH Franmil Reyes- -1.5% dropped, rostered in 78.1% of leagues. I would drop him due to no roster flexibility and only a 1/12 start of the season.

1B Jared Walsh- -9.5% dropped, rostered in 37.5% of leagues. I would drop due to Pujols getting the majority of PT at 1B, while Ohtani DH.

Drops: Pitchers:

Andrew Heaney- -0.1% dropped, rostered in 72.7% of leagues. I would drop him after 7ER in 3IP. Drop him until we see a bounce back.

Elieser Hernandez- 18.2% add, rostered in 45.3% of leagues. I would drop due to injury and the fact he could miss a couple of weeks due to an IL stint.

Logan Webb- +9.8% added, rostered in 10.8% of leagues. I would drop; there are better spot start guys than Webb.

Adam Wainwright- +7.6% add, rostered in 31.6% of leagues. I would drop Waino until he gets hot again and has a good matchup against a weaker lineup for a rebound.

Caleb Smith/Madison Bumgarner- I would drop both at neither pitchers more than 4IP, and the D-backs have a bit to figure out with their pitching staff.

Add: Position Player

C Yermin Mercedes- +33.1%, rostered in 33.1% of leagues. I think Mercedes is legit and worthy of your C2 spot or would be a great UTL option.

2B/OF Adam Frazier- +23.7%, rostered in 34.0% of leagues. Off to a solid start with 3/8, 2RBI, and 1SB. Provides roster flexibility.

C Buster Posey- +23.6%, rostered in 51.8% of leagues. I would add Posey after a strong showing in Seattle with 2HR.

OF Michael Taylor- +20%, rostered in 20.5% of leagues. Off to a hot 5/9 start with 2HR, 6RBI. Worth an ad for now.

3B Evan Longoria- +11.4%, rostered in 14.9% of leagues. Off to a strong start with 2HR, 4RBI. I would consider Longoria as a matchup play.

OF Manuel Margot, 2B/SS/3B Joey Wendle- These two are helping the Rays stay in games. Look for them to keep up the solid play.

Add: Pitchers

SP John Means- +20.2%, rostered in 47.3% of leagues. Means was in control of his stuff on opening day. Please proceed with caution as he matches up with the Yankees this week.

SP Yusei Kikuchi- +19.1%, rostered in 27.2% of leagues. Kikuchi has an HR to Posey and Longoria, and they were good pitches. 10K-1BB is an encouraging sign. His next start is 4/10 against the Twins.

SP Jake Arrieta- +16.3%, rostered in 23.2% of leagues. Arrieta threw six strong innings with 5K, 1BB, and only 1ER to return to the Cubs. His next outing is Thursday, 4/8, against the Pirates, again.

RP(SP) Chris Flexen- +1.5%, rostered in 1.7% of leagues. Flexen looked good in his first start in the MLB after spending time in the KBO the last two seasons. 6K-2BB over 5IP. His next start comes Sunday, 4/11, against the Twins.

SP Jon Gray- +1.7%, rostered in 4.9% of leagues. Gray is one of the few pitchers you want to add IF he is pitching on the road. He held the Dodgers to 1ER over 5IP with 7K-1BB. His next start is D-Backs at home.

SP Julio Teheran, SP Tanner Houck, RP Ryne Stanek are also worth a pickup this week. Each is owned in less than 9.7% of leagues.

Hold: Position & Pitchers- 5 Total.

SS Dansby Swanson- A rough 1/11 start at the plate isn't encouraging at all. Hang in there; Dansby will turn it around soon. The Braves, offense a whole, struggled.

OF Alex Verdugo- A rough 0/12 start at the plate is terrible. I would hold on. Boston just had their worst start to a season, EVER. Verdugo and the Red Sox will turn it around against the Rays.

OF/1B Ryan Mountcastle- Another rough 2/12 start at the plate. Mountcastle is worth keeping for the flexibility. Suppose you play the matchups against the Yankees to start the week. He will be ok.

SP Dallas Keucehl- I am close to dropping Keuchel. However, he does make his next start against the Mariners. The 3ER over 4IP isn't too terrible. However, it doesn't set up for success.

SP and position players on the Mets- Hold onto your Mets starters going into their opening series this week. Walker, Stroman will get their shots this week and will not disappoint. McCann, J.D. Davis, and others on the Mets, add, add, add if they are out there. I hope you didn't drop them.
